Finalisten Vinylized 2009 bekend
Final Five te horen bij Hey! Music! op Fresh FM en Rooms of Redbull
Sebastian Sleebos, Shock Royal, Sebatien Lintz, Audiomilch en Engineerz of Soul zijn Vinylizeds Final Five van 2009, door de jury gekozen uit de ruim 100 inzendingen.
De tracks van de vijf finalisten worden op de site www.vinylized.net geplaatst, zodat het publiek kan stemmen. Ook draait Michel de Hey de komende maand op de vrijdagavond om 22:30 uur van elke finalist de track in zijn programma Hey! Music! op Fresh FM en hij zal de desbetreffende producer dan ook interviewen. Het publiek krijgt daarbij de kans om de Final Five live aan het werk te zien in Rooms of Redbull, de creatieve broedplaats op de Amsterdamse Wallen.
Tot 1 september is het mogelijk om te stemmen. De stem van het publiek en die van de jury bepalen uiteindelijk wie de winnaar wordt van Vinylized 2009. De bekendmaking van de winnaar is op vrijdag 4 september in Hey! Music! op Fresh FM.
Bij het SAE Institute hebben de vijf finalisten een workshop over het produceren van dance gevolgd. Daarna hebben de Final Five ieder een dagdeel met engineer MarcoAntonio Spaventi in de studio gezeten om hun tracks af te mixen en te masteren. Het resultaat is te vinden op de Vinylized site.

 A new venture is unfolding deep in the heart of Amsterdam. If you go down to the Red Light District today, you’re in for a big surprise. And not the kind you might expect from this salacious area. Nestled between all the other attractions is one building that wants to change your artistic outlook forever.
The Rooms of Red Bull is a new project from SAE, Red Bull and DJ Broadcast. Its aim is to be a warehouse for inspiration, and students from SAE Amsterdam were given the unique opportunity to run the studio there.
Sounds interesting? Of course it does. And just for you, the SAE team has set up a blog so you can see what we get up to in our summer of creativity.
