DON’T MISS IT: ADE NEXT, THE PLATFORM FOR NEW TALENT, SATURDAY 24th of OCTOBER

2009 ADE NEXT is Amsterdam Dance Events’s (ADE) platform for new talent where you’ll find a well balanced mixture of producers & DJs and other professionals from all around the globe, eager to share their knowledge with you! ADE NEXT is all about how to connect with artists and professionals, how to publish your track, how to promote yourself and how to be prepared for the main stage. Ask for feedback on your own music by infamous A&R managers and bookers, DJ’s and producers who are there just for you! Sounds good doesn’t it? All fired up to release your music, beats and productions? Got questions about how to get prepared for the music industry, how to deal with copyrights, managers and agents?
This is most definitely the place to be!

Bring your music and let professionals listen to it, network your way through ADE NEXT, gather feedback, make new friends and fans, who knows, maybe even a record deal! Subscribe yourself in the morning for a 1-on-1 demo session with one of our professionals, among them:

Edwin Oosterwal ( Green / Rejected Records, NL)
Jordy Prinsen ( Label manager, Flashover Recordings, NL)
Reinhard Raith ( A&R/DJ/producer, Ministry of Sound, DE)
Ryan Saltzman (Agent, Bullitt Bookings, US)
Charles Siegling ( DJ/producer, Technasia, FR)

Click here for more names of the first and second demopitch.

WHAT IS HAPPENING AT ADE NEXT?
A lot! For a Q&A we have invited two key players from the second wave of Detroit techno, Mike Banks (Underground Resistance, US) and Carl Craig (Planet E, US).
Grammy award winning act Dirty Vegas (GB) is going to show how they produce their music for all you music geeks and Peter Hook (New Order, Joy Division, GB) will talk about a piece of history: ‘The infamous club Hacienda’, back in the days from the late ‘80s to the mid ‘90s! Besides the wide range of International artists, five Dutch leading (dance-) producers will share their experiences and give a ‘behind the scenes’ peak of their productions during The Producers Panel.
During the panel  ‘In bed with….’ in a hotel room with a big bed, champagne and a relaxed atmosphere, ISIS, Tommie Sunshine and Chuckie will tell you about their inspiration and their drive!

MORE NAMES MORE NAMES…..
We’ll try to make this newsletter not too long, but that will be hard since the line-up of ADE NEXT is full of big names which can’t be failed to mention: Olav Basoski (NL), Benjamin Bates (NL), Maarten van Beusekom (Awakenings, NL), Dave Clarke (Soma, GB), Gene Farris (US), Josh Gabriel (US), Hardwell (NL), Michel de Hey (NL),  Junkie XL (NL), Wouter de Moor (NL), Etienne Overdijk (NL), Radioslave (DE), Benny Rodrigues (NL), Slam (Soma, GB), Speedy J (NL), Kevin Traynor (Sonic Academy, IRL), Erik Verzijl (Buma Stemra, NL) and many more…..

At the end of the day we have the infamous Demolition panel hosted by techno legend Dave Clarke (GB) with Hidde Pluymert (Melkweg, NL), Stacey Pullen (US), Jonty Skrufff (Skrufff Media & Skrufff.com, DE) and Tommie Sunshine (Brooklyn Fire, US). Do you dare to participate with your music? The winner will get airplay on Dave Clarke’s radio show and to throw a cherry on top, a mastering session at the SAE Institute, now isn’t that sweet? After our traditional Demolition panel we like to invite for a final drink by DJ Hero at the bar. On board we have the people form Radio Sunshine live who will broadcast live from the Felix Meritis straight after the Demolition Panel.
